Seeking Newsletter Volunteer

Would you like to write TangoHelena's weekly newsletter? We are looking for someone to share this task with Julie for now, and eventually take it over. Please contact her if you are interested.

Are you an Advanced Tango Student?

If you are, please talk to Grace, Julie, Phil, or Patrick. What we want to know: Do you want to take advanced classes? If so, which day/time would work for you? Do you need financial aid for class or babysitting? What topics would you like to learn, and how would you like to have them taught? Do you have any favorite teachers? Anything else you'd care to share!

Note that Advanced Practica in Helena will be cancelled on Nov. 4th due to the workshop in Bozeman.

Sunday Practica is from 4:00 to 6:00 each week at the YWCA

Ken Taylor will host on November 6th.
Have you learned something that you'd like to share? Contact Julie about teaching a 15-minute lesson at practica.

NEW: Practica has changed back to Sunday afternoons, 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Scholarships Available for Students to Attend Classes

TangoHelena is happy to announce that we still have scholarship money that is available for Helena-area dancers who need help to attend classes sponsored by TangoHelena.

There is a three-person Scholarship Committee that will review applications and award funds.  We take into account the applicant’s financial need, interest/participation level in TangoHelena events, willingness to participate as fully as possible in the workshop (not just take one or two classes), and willingness to bring what you learn back to benefit our Helena commmunity.  We do not base scholarship awards on experience level so as to encourage dancers at all levels to apply.
