Summer Tango Classes

Tango 1 classes are a great way to start for anyone wanting to learn this wonderful dance. Tango 2 classes are great for continuing dancers wanting to learn new moves and improve the fundamentals of their dance.

Classes are Thursday evenings, July 23rd - August 27th, 2009, at Allegro Dance Studio (3750 N. Montana Avenue).

Tango 1:  6:30 - 7:30 pm, beginner level
Tango 2:  7:45 - 9:00 pm, intermediate level
Practica:  9:00 - 9:30 pm, free practice open to all

Tango 1:  6:30 - 7:30 pm.  No experience or partner necessary.  We rotate partners throughout class.  Please bring slippery-soled shoes (no street shoes on the dance floor).  $36/single, $62/couple.  Free to Tango 2 students.

Tango 2:  7:45 - 9:00 pm.  For experienced tango dancers.  $45/single, $75/couple.

Practica:  9:00 - 9:30 pm.  Practice dance open to all.  Free.

Also, please note, you can come and practice with us every week:

SUNDAY PRACTICA:  4:00 - 6:00 pm.  Practice session open to all.  Take advantage of the extra dance studio time to improve your tango.  No fee just donation what you can to help cover rent.  Practicas are a great opportunity to dance with people of all experience levels and really integrate what you've learned.  They're also a lot of fun!  Please join us.
